Bucket List Goal: Visit Gulliver's dinosaur and farm park
Where: Gulliver's dinosaur and farm park , Milton Keynes, UK
Cost: ££ - family friendly!
We have been wanting to check out Gulliver's dinosaur park since we knew about it last year and choose the first Monday of half term to explore it!
Heading in to 'the lost world' my children were utterly amazed by their surroundings and the number of dinosaurs that greeted them!
There is more than 30 tail trashing dinosaurs roaring around the park, with most moving with sounds- the best collection of interacting dinosaurs we have come across so far!
We went up the observation tower to get better views of the whole park. This large caged circular pod, slowly turns around giving you 360 degrees of the lost world and farm. Its suitable for the whole family and we quickly discovered the Jurassic river ride was just across the hedge from us!
As well as the river ride and tower, there is a number of areas for the children to play in, a digger station where they can practice digging up balls and also race around a track.
Get up close and personal with many creepy crawlies and reptiles inside the reptile and bug center. Make sure to pop into the scientists room at the end to learn more about different types of dinosaurs on the big screen!
If this wasn't enough to explore the park also has a farm where you can meet and greet some fluffy friends in cuddle corner and there is various talks and events going on through the park, such as their cookery school and slime making.
Children can head over to the hatchery where they can meet the newest editions to the farm or pop into the pottery shed to learn more about planting and get hands on!
We brought a picnic with us and there was plenty of benches to sit and chow down after all the excitement. There is also a café serving hot and cold meals. Ice creams, sweets and coffee also available.
The big red barn is home to a large soft play area and the tractor rides were also a huge hit with the kids taking to the wheel.
Gulliver's also offer breaks at their adventurers village, where you can choose to sleep in a 'dino den' or a 'lost world cabin'! We will definitely return again and extend our break into an overnight stay. In fact, I have just added a stay in the Dino den onto our bucket list! *hello summer*
Its worth noting the park entrance fees are £2 cheaper if you book online 2 or more days prior to arriving. Children under 90cm go free and adults and child tickets are both £10 each with free car parking facilities on site.
This park was a huge hit with us as a family! There is so much to do and see at such a good price for a full day out. Right at the entrance is the indoor splash zone, which you can add onto your day for just £5pp! (see below)
Special offers on the website:
Double the fun and book Splash Zone, Blast Arena or The SFEAR. Simply add Splash Zone, Blast Arena or The SFEAR to your online booking, its only £5 per person to add these action-packed indoor experiences.
A special shout out to Pastel Rocks for gifting us their new jumpsuits! Tyler and Ava loved wearing them and they really are so perfect for days out like this; warm, comfortable and perfect for layering. I always put them in trousers underneath for extra warmth which means they are easy to take off when the weather warms up!
