bakerdays personalised letter box cake

bakerdays are changing the way we order cake forever and I am so excited to tell you all about it!

Long gone are the days we have to rush to the shops last minute and grab whatever is left on the shelf which is why i am so in love with their postable cake concept!

bakerdays create the ultimate surprise gift for all of life's special moments

You know I am a massive fan of making memories and moments special and for this friendly company, they help their customers do just that, all from the comfort of their sofa. Genius!

When they asked if I would like to review their 5" personalised letter box cake, I absolutely jumped at the chance as it fitted in nicely with a bucket list experience we were about to embark on shortly too; wedding dress shopping

I really wanted to mark this occasion and so I choose to have my cake fully personalised, to surprise my sister whilst going to try on wedding dresses for the first time.

There are so many designs to choose from, simply log on to and browse designs, upload a photo and add any further personalised text.

You can see the whole range of photo cakes here.

Choose your recipe; I went for traditional vanilla sponge cake, but they also offer chocolate, lemon drizzle, fruit, gluten and wheat free, as well as dairy free.

This cute 5" cake was delivered in perfect condition straight through my letter box and was as fresh as if I just collected it from the cake shop itself. They post anywhere in the UK so its really easy and convenient. You can check out the delivery details here.

Here is my personalised cake design I was sent to preview, it looks exactly the same as what I received.

The best thing for me was the concept of a having a cake delivered through the post! I have never seen this done before, let alone know if it was even possible.

Because of this, there is no need to wait in to sign for it. It simple gets posted through your letter box with your other post - there's no stress!

With bakerdays clever cake tin design, it kept the cake in place as it made its little journey through royal mails network and into my mouth!

There is a handy tab that you pull, that gently lifts the cake out one side so you can remove it from its tin. Just remove the excess packaging and its ready to eat.

I am so glad I have found this little gem of a product, its a perfect way to make someone's day special when your not close by to drop something over yourself.

I plan to send more personalised letter box cakes to friends and family, because after all, who doesn't love cake?!

- A quick pic in the wedding shop changing rooms, after I said Yes to the dress!!
